Meridian Product Compass

Meridian Product Compass is the cross-project knowledge space for your own software products.

It is intentionally separate from Meridian core. Meridian core should contain tools, standards, packages, scripts, schemas, validators, and agent guidance. Product Compass should contain synthesis: what exists across product repos, what can be reused, where opportunities exist, and what AI assistants should understand before helping combine ideas.

The operating rule is:

Repositories own facts. Meridian core owns tooling. Meridian Hub owns live operational visibility. Meridian Product Compass owns synthesis.

What this site is for

Use Product Compass to understand:

  • project goals and current capability
  • reusable components and extraction candidates
  • common integrations, APIs, providers, and data sources
  • product opportunities suggested by existing work
  • duplication risks across projects
  • AI-friendly context for future development sessions

What this site is not for

This repo should not become the place where project truth is manually duplicated.

Each product repository should still own its own factual metadata, architecture notes, and generated dossier. Product Compass should fetch, validate, summarise, compare, and synthesise that information.
